a simple recolour

i am so behind the times.. everyone else is starting to make sims 3 stuff and i just now am learning the basics to recolouring sims 2 stuff >_> anyway here’s a little recolour i did for the 4esf living room 3 couch, chair, plant and coffee table and i figured i’d share. there are 2 versions of the plant so you can have a red one and a black one to go with the black and red recolour of the couch. meshes are NOT included so please do make sure to download them if you don’t already have them.

this was a pretty quick recolour mostly because i was sick of wanting to use that couch but it not fitting the rest of my planned decor. anyway, go easy on me! i’m still a noob. but do feel free to let me know if you find any problems or if you have any advice! next time i might try and actually do something more complex

this is a very small basic 2×2 lot, the house is a 1 bedroom starter style home great for the single sim just getting in the game. unfurnished its around 14k, furnished its unfortunately above the 20k starter home price (which is why i didn’t do any landscaping!!!) but of course you can always mod it once you have it in game. requires all expansion packs and no stuff packs. there is no CC in this house what so ever. you might notice in the furnished house, that some things have been moved around with moveobjects on as well as allow45degreeangleofrotation true. if you move things around, do remember those cheats if you need to put something back the way it was previously.

oh my god could it be?

i actually made something?? yes! yes i did! i decided to fiddle around with a few tutorials and some hair textures from the garden of shadows and ended up making some cool streaked versions of the scene queen hair from pixel dolly

i only did 3 colours of streaks because i am still a noob at this and i didn’t really have any idea what colours to use! but they came out great in my opinion.. the streaks show up on teen, young adult, and adult female, and they are in the custom hair bin.

ok so i’m a little flighty

i can’t seem to get anything done, i guess it’s just the end of the year slump junk. i have started a livejournal thing for the stories since its easier to upate that way. i wil use the pages here to link to those stories.

i’m also working on making a few pre-fab sims for you guys to play with! i’m taking photos of the first one right now and he will be out soon. his name is johnas and he’s a nice looking guy

not sure what else to blah about on here so i’ll close for now.

more stuff i’m adding to this place

since it seems my ability to create stuff is a bit dead at the moment (i’m in a slump it seems..) i’m going to also start working on some stories for the sims i’m taking care of at the moment.

currently the neighborhood i’m playing is a group of sims made to look like my friends from second life(tm) and i’m having alot of fun with them so i figure i’ll share since i’m snapping photos like a crazy mother at a birthday party.

anyway i’ll be working on that for a while so check it out when it’s done.

welcome to luni sims

well i was going to join some content creator sites but i hate waiting for stuff to be approved (and double hate being rejected for stupid stuff) so i’m just going to make my own site. so welcome to luni sims!

the name LuNi comes from the store my boyfriend and i have on second life. i have been a sl content creator for a couple of years now and i’m transfering that skill into the sims 2 world! i’ve been playing with sim games since i was a little kid with good old sim city on floppy disks. i do hope that i can get lucas (the Lu in LuNi) to join me here so i decided to name the place LuNi sims.
